Rachel Adjemian has over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, having worked for local grassroots and large national organizations, establishing sustainable funding to move mission-driven work forward. Most recently she worked at the American Heart Association, where she partnered with corporate, philanthropic, and community stakeholders to support cardiovascular research, health equity initiatives, and public health programs. Earlier in her career, she led development and community engagement efforts for organizations focused on health and human services building a strong track record of cultivating strategic partnerships and driving organizational growth.

Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and is currently working towards her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Michèle brings several decades of experience in international human capital consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, team building, facilitation, talent management, and startup advisory. Her work has spanned organizations of all sizes and industries—from VC-backed startups and private equity portfolio companies to the Fortune 50—across both private and public sectors, as well as leading global executive education institutions.

Having lived and worked in four countries and coached leaders from more than 85 nationalities, Michèle brings a distinctive global perspective to her practice. She has partnered with organizations including ABB, AstraZeneca, Axis Communications, Citi, Danone, Fidelity, Google, HSBC, IKEA, Klarna, Nordea, Siemens, Takeda, Teradata, the Termeer Institute, and Volvo, supporting leaders and teams as they work to collaborate more effectively, clarify strategy, and adapt to change.

Working with executive and leadership teams to become high-functioning, effective, and innovative is one of Michèle’s signature strengths and passions. She is a dynamic and highly engaged facilitator and coach who works closely with clients to build trust, strengthen communication and collaboration, define strategy and goals, increase engagement, and achieve results.

Michèle is committed to helping clients reach positive outcomes through a pragmatic and structured approach—one that drives insight and action while supporting meaningful change and lasting impact. She has worked with management teams in both corporate and startup environments as they have addressed strategic challenges, entered new markets, driven innovation, managed rapid growth, and scaled operations.

She holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and completed her initial coach training with the NeuroLeadership Institute. Michèle is certified and well-versed in assessments including Predictive Index, MBTI Step II, Hogan, StrengthsFinder, DISC, and TKI, and she works extensively with a range of 360-degree feedback tools. She is also certified in the Leadership Versatility Index (LVI).

Michèle’s academic and corporate leadership program design experience reflects a deep understanding of adult learning and the importance of dynamic application. While living in Switzerland, she served as a coach for IMD’s Global MBA program and developed business cases and course content for executive education programs. She has partnered with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Singapore Management University, and HEC Paris. In Sweden, Michèle co-created the LeadershipLive course for the Executive MBA program at the Stockholm School of Economics, where she continues to serve as a Senior Coach and Faculty Member.

Currently, Michèle partners with Harvard Business School’s Blavatnik Fellowship in Life Sciences, providing leadership development and coaching to global entrepreneurs and first-time CEOs, and with MIT Sloan School of Management, where she coaches in the MBA, EMBA, and Executive Education programs and mentors founders in the $100K Entrepreneurship Competition.

Earlier in her career, Michèle was an executive search consultant with Korn Ferry International in San Francisco, conducting C-suite searches for the Venture Capital, Advanced Technology, and Professional Services practices. She also worked at two startups in fintech and enterprise software and later served as Senior Advisor on Human Capital to the Assistant Secretary and Chief Financial Officer at the U.S. Department of State under Secretary Colin Powell.

Michèle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, running marathons, visiting art museums, hiking, practicing yoga, and angel investing. She is a first-generation American and a dual French and UK national.

Jennifer comes to the Termeer Foundation with over 20 years of experience as an Executive Assistant. She has a well-rounded background supporting C-suite executives and senior management from healthcare to education to the legal field. She completed her Paralegal studies through PACE University in 2018 and went on to become a paralegal for the Vermont Attorney General’s office before moving to Massachusetts in 2021. She is dedicated to supporting the amazing team at the Termeer Foundation as well as Belinda Termeer as we work together to honor Henri’s legacy.

Catharine most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative at the Clinton Foundation where she led a team focused on stigma reduction and overdose prevention related to the US opioid epidemic. Prior to that, Catharine was the executive director of the Harvard Center for Primary Care where she led business development, strategy, and operations for a think-tank focused on improving value-based, patient-centered care. She has served in program development and management roles across various health care sectors, directing national and global initiatives in hospital medicine quality improvement and primary care systems strengthening.

Catharine holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a graduate degree in social science research from the University of Chicago.

Erica most recently served as the Vice President of Day and Employment Services at Fidelity House, Inc. a position she held from 2014- 2021. Fidelity House is a non-profit organization in the Merrimack Valley and during Erica’s tenure she led three departments focused on providing individualized and innovative services to adults with disabilities as well as students and Veterans. Among these services included: team and program development that helped foster program growth, sustainability, and enhanced service delivery. Currently, Erica serves on the Development Committees of multiple nonprofit organizations.

Erica holds a bachelors’ degree from Saint Anselm College and is a LEADS 3.0 cohort member. (Leaders Engaged and Activated to Drive System-wide change).

Lorie has been the administrative coordinator for The Termeer Foundation since 2018.  In addition, she also currently supports the CEO of NE Biolabs, an industry leader in the discovery, development and production of enzymes and technologies for molecular biology applications.  Lorie previously worked for Genzyme and Sanofi Genzyme departing in 2019 after a 27+ year career supporting a variety of departments and C-suite executives. Lorie is proud to honor and continue Henri’s legacy in mentoring by supporting the Foundation in its mission to identify and empower people who can bring life-changing treatments to patients.  Lorie holds an Associate’s Degree in Hotel Management from Newbury College.
